For well over two decades I have been designing, creating, and restoring furniture and architecture. Countless hours have been spent scrutinizing and decoding information from books, contemporaries, architecture, and antique furniture.

In my early 20s I picked up a book from a coffee table: Sam Maloof, Woodworker. From that moment on I was hooked. Seventeen years later I was able to meet Sam a few months before his death; he reminded me that one can thrive as a craftsman if they stay true to their convictions and value the relationships with their clients.

In the summer of 2010 I was invited to be a workshop assistant at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine. Lifelong friendships and connections with makers from all over the world have resulted in continued teaching opportunities with the school.

I have always felt the need to share my enthusiasm and encourage work that speaks to the human soul.
